Lindisfarne was a good-timey early-’70s folk group from England. This song isn’t their best work, Bing rather mushy-sounding & 2-heavily orchestrated — I’m still holding on2 my copy, tho. I’d commend 2 U their Top 5 British hit “Lady Eleanor” & the 1970 Elektra album it’s from, NICELY OUT OF TUNE — punchier sound & more stripped-down. & tho they were a goodtime band, some of their darker stuff had a pretty heavy impact….
